Points system now live for Blocklords’ forthcoming Lordchain

MetaKing Studios has revealed details of its ongoing campaign for the LRDS token and the forthcoming Lordchain nodes within its fully onchain Blocklords Dynasty browser game, which runs on the Base L2 blockchain.

Currently live in the game is the ability for holders of the most rare Orbs NFTs to lock their Orbs for 13 weeks to earn what is labelled Node Power.

For example, locking one mythic Orb for 13 weeks will generate 15 Node Power, one legendary Orb generates 2 NP and two epic Orbs give 1 NP.

Orbs are NFTs on the Base blockchain and can be traded in the game’s marketplace. This campaign runs until 23rd October.

Orbs aren’t the only way to generate NP, however, as locking 500 LRDS tokens – currently worth $375 – for 13 weeks will also give 1 NP, with a further 1 NP for each 500 LRDS tokens locked. This campaign runs until 30th September.

As for the point of gaining NP, it will be used to rank wallets on a Node Tier. The higher the tier, the more rewards will be gained in terms of LRDS token when the Lordchain goes live. 1 NP is required for the basic tier while 1,000 NP gets you access to the legendary tier.
