Today marks the debut of Genshin Impact‘s significant expansion, Version 5.0, titled “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn,” introducing the eagerly awaited nation of Natlan. This update is now available to players who have completed all Mondstadt Archon Quests, offering a fresh realm of exploration with distinct geographical features and cultural depth.

Key Features of Natlan:

• New Nation Unveiled: Players can explore Natlan, encountering local tribes, diverse landscapes, and a rich tapestry of lore.
• Unique Playstyles and Abilities: The update introduces the ability to play as Natlan's formidable warriors or transform into Saurians, Natlan's dragon-like creatures, each equipped with special exploration skills:
  • Tepetlisaurus: Excels in tunneling underground and climbing cliffs.
  • Yumkasaurus: Can navigate swiftly, pulling itself in various directions for elevated mobility.
  • Koholasaurus: Specializes in fast water traversal and moving across liquid Phlogiston.

New Characters:

• Mualani: A five-star Hydro catalyst wielder who can surf across surfaces on a Sharky Surfboard while attacking enemies.
• Kinich: A five-star Dendro warrior with a claymore, featuring mobility-enhancing grappling hooks for aerial maneuvers.
• Kachina: A four-star Geo polearm user who employs a Turbo Twirly for combat and climbing.

These characters will be available through the Event Wishes system, with Mualani and Kachina debuting in the first phase alongside a rerun of Kaedehara Kazuha, and Kinich appearing in the second phase with Raiden Shogun.

Anniversary Celebrations and System Enhancements:

• Fourth Anniversary Rewards: The update coincides with Genshin Impact's fourth anniversary, offering players a chance to invite a free 5-star character from the Standard Wish lineup, earn up to ten Intertwined Fates through a daily login event, and claim 1,600 Primogems among other rewards through in-game mail.
