Genshin Impact x McDonald’s Collab Offers Apple Pies, Primogems, And Gliders
Ready to grab some fast food and snag in-game rewards? Genshin Impact has teamed up with McDonald’s for an exclusive promotion that’s sure to get players’ mouths watering—both in-game and IRL. Starting September 17, McDonald’s will be rolling out limited-time Genshin Impact-themed menu items that come with codes for in-game goodies. So yes, you can now order fries with a side of Primogems!
The collaboration features two exclusive menu items: the Genshin Impact Apple Pie and the Genshin Impact Deluxe McCrispy Meal. The apple pie comes in specially designed packaging featuring Genshin fan-favorites Beidou and Kaedehara Kazuha. Aside from satisfying your sweet tooth, ordering one will grant you a code that can be redeemed for 40 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, a Mystic Enhancement Ore, and the pièce de résistance—three Golden Apple pastries and the Golden Apple pastry recipe, which buffs your combat stats in-game.
If that’s not enough for you, the Deluxe McCrispy Meal offers even more rewards. The meal includes a Deluxe McCrispy chicken sandwich (because nothing says Genshin like crispy chicken), fries, a drink, and one of those limited-edition apple pies. Along with your in-game pastry haul, this meal also grants you access to two exclusive cosmetics: the Wings of Delicacies wind glider and the Celebration: Crispy and Sweet namecard. That’s right—now you can glide across Teyvat in style, wings flapping as a subtle homage to crispy chicken.
This promotion runs from September 17 to 29 and requires ordering through the McDonald’s app. To snag your in-game rewards, you’ll need to have a Genshin Impact account and redeem your codes by October 29. HoYoverse has already set up a collaboration page with all the details, so players can check out how to redeem their loot and maximize those Primogems.
The partnership may seem a bit unusual to some, but it’s not exactly surprising. McDonald’s and Genshin Impact both have massive global fanbases, so why not mash them together for a delicious promo? Heck, Final Fantasy XIV once partnered with a pizza place while Diablo 4 partnered with a cleaning company. In any case, it’s a fun way to satisfy your hunger while boosting your in-game character’s strength, whether you’re a fan of the game, the food, or both.
So, if you’ve ever wanted to chow down on a McCrispy while earning Primogems, your time has finally come. Get ready to take your fast food love to Teyvat—and show it off with some delicious apple pie and golden wings. Promo details can be found here.
